Genevieve Swift
Genevieve is an actor, storyteller, director and facilitator. She is co-founder of award winning Theatre Without Walls.
News
Genevieve has just launched her new 2022 audio series "Once Upon A Podcast" which was funded by the Arts Council of Northern Ireland through it's Creative Individuals Resilience Programme. She has also recently recorded several radio plays including the role of Laura in the new radio play Murder In Mind for Theatre Phonic. She has just completed a children's theatre tour of her own show "The Library of Lost Secrets" and prior to that her most recent theatre role was in A Shared Breath by Linda Morse for Bright Umbrella Theatre Company as part of The 4 Corners Festival.
She has also recently presented a second series of half hour interactive films featuring stories and activities for children at The MAC, Belfast.
She has also been very busy creating numerous short films, workshops and storytellings for Arts Care. Another project is a live theatre commission by the Millennium Court Arts Centre to research and perform a site specific piece based on Bella McGuigan- a market trader who used to have a stall in the market where the arts centre now is. Other work in development includes two new plays in development with Theatre Without Walls including "A walk through this city at night" as part of The MAC, Belfast 'Hatch' programme.
